De-watering Screens

Hewitt Robins pioneered the development of vibrating de-waterers for the removal of surface moisture to enhance product quality.

The vast experience of Hewitt Robins includes the processing of materials ranging from sand, metallic ores, crushed stone and slag to coal, potash, rock salt and wood chips. Hewitt Robin’s dewaterers can also be specifically applied in pre-wetting, de-sliming and rinsing filtration media.

The inclination of our Hewitt Robins de-watering Screens ranges between 3-5 degrees uphill angle to give the final product a moisture content of around 10-15% for suitable conveying. Our de-watering screens come with crossmemeber protection as standard to increase durability of the machine.

Our de-watering screens are driven by the Eliptex oil lubricated vibrator unit which can be either a two or four shafted mechanism depending on the duty.

Our standard range of de-watering screens ranges from 1.0 – 2.7m in width and 2.4m - 8.4m in length and are available in single and double deck arrangements.

For smaller applications Hewitt Robins can offer the more economical Umbex de-waterer which is driven by single or twin outer-balance vibrator motors.
