Quad - V Mechanism

Quad - V Mechanism

The HRI Quad – V mechanism has revolutionised the material processing industry and has been specifically designed for high volume applications.

Inclined screens use a single or double pair of vibrators mounted through the centre of gravity of the machine to impart a circular motion. A modified circular motion can be achieved when the vibrators are mounted on top of the screen. For low angle and horizontal installations, two pairs of vibrator mechanisms are run in contra-rotating directions to impart an elliptical motion.

Features include:

  • The mechanism contains two double spherical roller bearings with bore sizes up to 140mm.
  • Quad - V MechanismBearing pods are connected using a cardan shaft reducing the weight of the vibrator mechanism and increasing the space between the desk to replace meshes.
  • Designed for use on 3 metre screens or wider.
  • Reduces shaft deflection on wider screens.
  • High number of bearings within each pod increase bearing life by almost double.
