Quad-V Widescreen
Hewitt Robins Wide-Screens have handled some of the highest capacity applications all over the world.
Our Wide-Screens are specifically designed for high capacity applications with the unique Quad-V vibrator the perfect partner. The Quad-V vibrator has revolutionised the material processing industry and has led Hewitt Robins to manufacture some of the largest screens available on the market today.
The Quad-V mechanism contains two double spherical roller bearings in each pod with bore sizes up to 140mm. The vibrator pods are connected using a cardan shaft through the centre of the screen reducing the weight of the vibrator mechanism and increasing the space between the decks to replace meshes. The higher number of bearings within each pod increases bearing life by almost double compared to standard vibrator units putting the Quad-V at the forefront of design, durability and performance.
Wide-Screens can be supplied with single, double or triple shafted mechanisms that are either oil lubricated depending on the application.
Our standard range of Wide-Screens ranges from 2.7m – 3.0m in width and 6.0m – 9.6m in length and are available in single, double or even triple deck arrangements.
